Description:

"Stone Flower" - Best green tea from our plantation on the mountain Meng Ding. Careful collection, only the top buds with one small leaf. Dense, herbal fragrance of dry leavs. After steeping the smell is softer and it is pleasantly sweet, herbal to floral. The taste is full, round with a long, spicy aftertaste.

Term Ming Qian Cha - 明前 茶 states with teas of the most valuable early harvest of the first leaves of the highest quality. It literally means tea picked before the spring festival of Qing Ming - 清明 (beginning of April).

The first harvest of the year, the total production of only 8kg. There will be 1kg available. Price: $ 35 / 50g.

Steeping:

80°C, 5g per 100ml

Spring is finally here!

I visited TeaNet teahouse in the Jerusalem street in Prague. It was freezing outside. With the expectation of spring I smelled the first teas of 2013 and I was caught. Tea called Stone Flower smelled so good that I had no choice but to buy it despite the quite considerable price. The smell is strong, fresh, aromatic – a great experience. Tea is only 1 month old and tea was stored in the refrigerator, so it helps to maintain its aroma. Buds are beautifully brought to life by hot water. It is one bud and one leaf size of 1 cm. Beautiful. The infusion is clear, light green colored. Taste is very delicate, sweet, and floral. Simply …spring on the tongue. And outside is still snowing and snowing ... :-)

70°C – 20s/25/30/45. It is better to use colder water and longer time for steeping.
