Di JIe is one of few villages around Bingdao. This maocha come from late September harvest, old tea trees only. Strong aroma, rich and stimulating in mouth, fast huigan. It is stronger than Bingdao, with some bitterness. This maocha is made by traditional way, not like many new "green tea" puerh which is easy for drinking now. But without future for aging!

Produced in the mid-late 1980's, these cakes were stored for the first 10-15 years of their life in Hong Kong in traditional, fairly humid storage. They were then bought by a tea merchant in Malaysia and have been stored there since. Their time in Hong Kong has allowed the tightly pressed cakes to age well, with their subsequent storage and ageing in Malaysia allowing the tea to become more refined and much of the traditional storage flavour to dissipate. Spring 2005 material from Yibang was used for this semi-aged raw puerh tea brick. Rare hand pressed by wood form and stone. Is hard to see this technique nowadays. 2015 Pin Raw Puer Tea 200g from White2tea. The Pin is a blend of three years of high quality material (2013, 2014, and 2015) with Lincang character. The tea has a sweet flavor and a heavy fragrance.
